Here at American Medical we understand that the rules and regulations concerning durable medical equipment are constantly changing, which is why we continually strive to stay informed and up to date on industry changes and regulations so that we can help our patient’s. We gladly accept and bill most major insurances with a prescription from your doctor. Once we have a prescription from your doctor and you receive the item, we will take care of the billing process and reimbursement. In most cases it takes about 4-6 weeks for insurance claims to process. We collect all co-insurances and deductibles up front. Please plan to spend 20-30 minutes with us if you are a new client needing medical equipment and or supplies to insure we can properly bill your insurance for reimbursement so you don’t end up being responsible for the bill.

We are contracted with most major insurance companies to include Medicaid, Washington State L&I, and most third party insurances.
